Welcome to Linwood Place Apartments...a ministry of Fox Valley Lutheran Homes

 

We are pleased to introduce you to our apartments for independent living. Linwood Place Apartments are for those 62 and older in the moderate income group. Linwood Place is a 41-unit apartment complex.

 

Located near the Fox River Mall and only three blocks away from a grocery store, our non-smoking, non-pet environment is based on mutual respect, friendship, and understanding. A tenant's apartment is his/her home and is respected as such. Our apartments include a range, refrigerator, dishwasher, disposal, air conditioning, cable tv, underground parking, on-site laundry facilities, a secure building entrance, locked basement storage for each tenant, custodial and yard service, a beauty shop, inside mail delivery, inside garbage collection, and a large Commons/Meeting area.  Each apartment has a balcony overlooking the grounds and/or the adjacent park. A locked foyer with intercoms to each apartment keeps visitors out until you let them in. Our Tenant Advisory Committee, consisting of interested Linwood Place tenants as well as a member of our staff, provides tenants an opportunity to voice any concerns or desires they might have with regards to living at Linwood Place.

 

Rent prices are available upon request for our one bedroom, two bedroom, and two bedoom with one and a half bath apartments. A security deposit equal to one month's rent and the first month's rent are due at the time of signing a one-year lease.

 

We also have activities available at Linwood Place. Scheduled activities include monthly church services, monthly communion services, periodic Bible studies, exercise classes, card games, bingo, foot care clinics, flu shot clinics, family gatherings, and other parties!
